So it's been about three years since I've been active on this site.. when I went to Japan two years ago my awesome camera got damaged (on the way THERE, sigh) and then I lost the Powershot I bought there as soon as we got back. For a while I could only take pictures with my phone, up until my birthday three weeks ago where my lovely husband bought me another Powershot! So I'm kind of back. I don't have PS yet but I will get it soon. Anyone still here?

Hm DeviantArt sure has changed throughout the years - eh? Se la vi. It's a lot less intuitive now and does not pander to the not-extremely-popular professional artists who use this site to advertise. Saw Star Trek and holy crap it was awesome. Also saw 17 Again and it was nice to see the reaction of the teen girls in the audience every time Zack Efron came on screen - some things never change. People have been always been freaking out about 'the kids' of the generation but it seems like every generation goes through the same motions. So long as things like sex and drugs are discussed on a mature level and brought out into the open early then kids are more prepared when they eventually have to face decisions based on those things in their lives. But yeah go see Star Trek.
